If the tethers of gravity were cut, how fast would the earth start spinning away from you? Also, regarding levitation, if you were to command each subatomic particle that made up your body to simply appear wherever you want, including in the air keeping general bodily form and function, ie just a transformation rather than a deformation, at a frequency so fast that no one can tell that gravity starts pulling down each instant and you move a tiny bit only to disappear and reappear again in the same position, kind of like an analog tv screen would sweep images so fast that we see it continuous.. could that be possible in the quantum world. Everything would have to be coordinated in a very large way, hence controlled by some force, which could be the mind. So basically, there is no opposite force holding you up, but you are actually moving up by disappearing and reappearing in space at a very high frequency and in such relative close proximity from each diappearance and reappearance so as to appear to be moving up continuously. This type of "quantum" levitation would also allow one to disappear and reappear anywhere, hence eliminating the need to "fly" all together.
